Seven realizations I had in the 10’s decade – 12 days of Christmas

1. Love is all you need

Being kind to yourself and others no only can make you feel happier and healthier. Still, it’s essential for the survival of humanity. Kindness is THE secret for healing the planet. Sometimes we think of ourselves as people who have no power, but our actions create a ripple effect in the universe. Take that a positive action, and you will flourish.

2. Pain and heartbreak will heal in time

It will pass faster than you expect. The most excruciating pain I felt this decade happened when my cat died. I went into a bad depressive loop where I kept thinking the sad feeling was never going away, but it wasn’t true. The grief won’t go away but it’s way more manageable.

3. Progress needs work and patience

Things take time to evolve, so give yourself time to think and create. If it a crazy big project feels overwhelming, then just focus on what needs to happen right now. Respect the process, you will get there.

4. Each day is new for everyone

Everyone around you is also trying to figure out their life one day at a time. If you think someone has their shit together, don’t fall for it.

5. There’s a solution for everything

Keep asking the right questions and trust in the possibility that everything will work out in the end, even though you don’t know how yet. People break records always.

6. No one can’t predict the future

Trying to determine ALL the steps you need to take is draining and not realistic. Situations and feelings change, so take things as they come. The only certainty is death; live for today.

7. You are stronger and smarter than you think

Strength is not just physical, just as being smart is not only intellectual. Still, we tend to impose limits on ourselves, thinking we are not good or strong enough to deal with a challenge. Test your limits and see for yourself how surprisingly strong and smart you are.
